Shoot Reports and Full Results
As is the way recently, contrasting weather conditions brought contrasting scores over the weekend …
Whilst we escaped the freezing rain which was forecast for Saturday, we still had bitterly cold conditions, and mad winds, throwing almost ABT like targets.
Paul Cannon showed great consistency to top the day’s scores with an excellent 98/288, given the fiercely cold winds and driving rain.
Sunday was a completely different affair, with a still and blue backdrop. Charlie Martin shot a brilliant 100/299 to take High Gun. Great shooting Charlie! Superb kills too!
Jon Butler took the AA class top spot, with 99/293. Great shooting John!
A class was won by Jerry Ayshford with 97/288, and Jerry’s son Stephen outshone him by a point to win B class on 97/289. Love a bit of family rivalry!! Great shooting both of you!
Well done to a fairly new guy to our ground, Shane Timony, who won C class!
Well done too to a couple of youngsters for posting great scores over the weekend… James Radford for finishing 4th overall on Saturday, and Rhys Clarke who shot his first 50 straight at our club and finished on a very creditable 98/286 on Sunday. Terrific to see young talent coming through!!
Thank you to Bill, Janine, Kevin, Tim and Caroline…
Great people!! We are back shooting between Xmas and New Year, 29th and 30th December … look forward to seeing you all maybe slightly heavier after your Xmas festivities and possible indulgence…
