Shoot Reports and Full Results

We’ve had a terrific turnout at the ground this weekend, despite some very challenging conditions, especially on Sunday.

23 Registered shooters on Saturday, and the shining light was Martin Fleming, with a fine 98/290. Well done Martin!

Sunday saw us welcome 51 shooters to the ground, though sadly we could not choose the weather to match the welcome!

Huge congratulations and massive respect to Dave Toomer, though. To shoot 100/299 in those conditions was truly remarkable and absolutely superb!! Very well done Dave!! High Gun and Major Northover Trophy go to you!

AA was won jointly by Shaun Porter and Geoff Howlett who both finished on 291. Great shooting chaps!

Alan Piper showed true grit to take A Class with a solid 97/286. Great performance Alan, after a bit of an absence from the sport.

We had another trophy to give out today, our Improvers Trophy. Our B Class winner also picked up this particular trophy as his shooting over recent months has ramped up a level, which has been terrific to witness! Well done Pete Wilcox, posting an excellent 98/285.

C Class was won again by Jo Watson Hopkinson with a super 95/280. Another fine score by a lady who shows great determination! Well done Jo!

A special mention to all the young shooters at the ground too, James Radford on Saturday, Oscar Parker, George Madden and Hermione Burns on Sunday! Great scores you young people,. keep at it as we love to see youth developing in our sport! And you all have great attitudes and etiquette at such a young age!!

Fantastic turnout in such tough weather conditions, thank you to EVERYONE who helped out! You are all very special to us!!

The AGM was well attended afterwards, and lots of good points and ideas raised, thank you all for your input and for your appreciation of what we do, also for your support going forwards.
